Description

Building PCC from source is a pain under Linux. Actually I did not succeed after spending a lot of time trying to build it.

Can you please generate automatic RPM packages that we can try under popular Linux distribution and make the RPM available for download just like MySQL does?

If we have to compile PCC from source to try it under Linux, I am afraid many of us we will never try it to see how good it is in practice.

we would love to have rpms, unfortunately we need a volunteer who can maintain them. there is one known current attempt at fedora based rpms, but they are not yet complete. i'll update this ticket as more info comes in.
